Help Keep a Beloved Seattle Small Business Thriving
From Christina, owner of Seward Park Pet:
When I bought Seward Park Pet in 2021, it was more than just a store — it was a way to serve my neighborhood during a difficult time. We stayed open through the pandemic, even adding groceries so our neighbors could shop safely and locally.
In 2024, our landlord declined to renew our lease and increased the rent by $2,000 a month. I searched all over the city before finding a new home just two blocks south. The move and remodel took everything I had — time, money, and heart. Though the new store is beautiful, foot traffic is only about 25% of what it was before, and that makes staying afloat hard.
This sweepstakes is my way of fighting forward. The goal is to raise $20,000 by November 15 to stabilize the store, pay rent, and keep Seward Park Pet alive for the people and pets who make this community special.
With your support, Seward Park Pet will continue to evolve — offering subscriptions for kibble and litter, and filling the shop with fun, high-quality treats, toys, and accessories for all your furry family members.
Every ticket sold keeps a small, woman-owned business thriving — and every dollar helps ensure that Seward Park Pet stays part of the heart of our community.

• One pet goodie bag (filled with local favorites)
• One raffle ticket for our drawings
🎟 Hourly Drawings
• Raffle drawings every hour between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM, featuring goods and services from beloved local businesses that bind our communities together Because what brings us closer than a love of dogs?
Give Back
We’re also collecting dry pantry goods for Rainier Food Bank. Please bring a non-perishable item to help support neighbors who rely on SNAP benefits. Together, we can care for pets and people.
